How it works
Timer
Press Start when you sit down to write. Press it again when you're done. Your session is saved automatically when you tap Save session.
The ring around your total shows how far you've come towards your goal. Your session clock runs in the top half of the screen.
Forgot to start on time? Use the "I started at" field to set an earlier start before saving.
Progress
See your total hours, how many days you've been at it, your daily average, and the pace you'd need to finish on time.
The bar chart at the bottom shows your recent sessions. Switch between 7 days, 14 days, or all time.
Log
Every session you save appears here. You can also add time manually — useful if you wrote somewhere without the app open.
Tap a session to delete it if you need to.
Adding a note to a session is optional, but "wrote the café scene" beats staring blankly at a list of numbers.
Setup
Set your writing period — a start date, an end date, and the number of hours you'd love to write. You can change these any time.
Toggle Daily inspiration on or off. When it's on, a writer, artist or maker appears when you first open the app each day. Tap anywhere to dismiss them and get to work.
Devices
Write Time syncs your hours across every device you're logged into. Open it on your phone, your laptop, your tablet — your hours follow you.
Install it to your home screen for the full app experience — it works offline too.
